In April 2011, FRI hosted a Victim’s Impact Panel at the New Creation Bible Church of Ferguson Road. This was a “Taking Back Life” event that included male and female survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. “The 60 survivors in attendance provided testimonials and insight about how they reclaimed their lives over abuse and how their lives have been transformed,” said Edna Foster, FRI’s Victim’s Outreach Coordinator. FRI is thrilled to report that our State of Texas funded Victim’s Outreach Program has been renewed for 2012. FRI will continue to reach out to those in our community who are the victims of domestic, sexual and other criminal violence.
