Since 2009, generous supporters like you join us for the exciting annual North Texas Giving Day (formerly DonorBridge) from 6 a.m.-midnight. Your generous support makes a meaningful difference in our ability to transform Far East Dallas into a safe, beautiful, prosperous, and proud community by inspiring hope and working together to achieve a shared vison.
As you know, FRI is changing the face of our community through our neighborhood restoration efforts and our vision for the complete economic revitalization of Far East Dallas. Our dreams to bring quality amenities into our community, like the $8.5M White Rock Hills Library (opened 2012) and the land acquisition for the first Regional Recreation Wellness Center (land secured 2009), continue to progress. This fall FRI will be launching the Feasibility Study for the Regional Recreation Wellness Center and look forward to your active participation!
Join Our 50 @ $50 Campaign!
On September 18th, North Texas Giving Day, we are asking our past contributors to consider doubling their gift from last year. And, in addition to loyal investors like you, our new goal this year is to gain 50 new donors at the $50 level! Our slogan for this campaign is “50 @ $50.” Your gift will help us receive extra funds for our community work. Every gift will go further with more than $1.5M in bonus funds and prizes! Here’s the really exciting part: Every gift made on September 18th helps our chances of winning prizes given throughout the day ranging from $500 to $10,000! With over 60 total prizes being awarded, our chances to maximize your gift are great! All gifts you make to the Ferguson Road Initiative on September 18th will increase our impact by allowing us to serve more of our residents through programs like our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Financial Education Network (FEN), Be Covered, and A/C Initiative programs. Your gift will help us “get the word out” to the community to participate and be a part of the Feasibility Study process in designing our Regional Recreation Wellness Center through multiple town hall meetings and surveys scheduled over the next seven months.
